We have an open position for

Academic Advisor (F/M)

at RIT CROATIA location in ZAGREB

We are looking for an organized, communicative, and proactive person to support students in planning their studies and successfully completing their degree.

What will you do?

• Provide individual academic advising to students on course selection, enrollment, academic requirements, and study planning.
• Help students set academic goals and develop individual study plans.
• Monitor students’ academic progress and provide additional support when needed.
• Advise students on degree completion and graduation requirements.
• Explain academic rules, procedures, and program requirements.
• Connect students with appropriate support services.
• Participate in organizing orientation programs, workshops, and events for students and parents.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of advising activities and students’ academic progress.
• Use student information systems and other digital tools.
• Prepare and publish class and final exam schedules.
• Process student requests and academic forms.
• Perform other administrative duties as needed.

What are we looking for?

• Completed undergraduate or graduate degree.
• 3-5 years of experience in administrative roles.
• At least 3 years of experience working with students, customers, or clients.
• Advanced computer skills and experience using business/information systems.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, student-oriented approach.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Proactive approach and willingness to take ownership and responsibility.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Contract details:

• Employment: Full-time, permanent position (40 hours/week)
• Location: Zagreb
• Probation period: 6 months
