At people+, we are supporting our client in the search for an Department Manager – Operations to join their team in Zagreb, Croatia. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the launch of the first Victoria's Secret store in Croatia and play a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day store operations.

As an Department Manager – Operations, you will be responsible for supporting the effective organization and administration of the store, overseeing key operational processes such as staff scheduling, cash desk management, reporting, and documentation. You will work closely with the Store Manager while also supporting the development and performance of the store team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage staff schedules to support effective store operations
• Oversee cash desk management and ensure relevant procedures are followed
• Prepare cash reports in cooperation with the Store Manager
• Record, organize, and archive accounting documentation accurately
• Ensure an efficient and timely flow of documentation between the store and the office
• Cooperate with the Store Manager in the effective management of the team
• Motivate, develop, and train employees to support strong performance and professional development
• Support smooth day-to-day store operations through effective organization and coordination

What we're looking for:

• Previous experience in retail operations, store administration, or a similar operational role
• Experience with staff scheduling, cash management, and administrative processes is highly preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to effectively coordinate multiple operational priorities
• Strong communication and team coordination skills
• Hands-on and solution-oriented approach to daily operational challenges
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment
