Position

As a Finance Associate, you will support the company’s financial operations by ensuring accurate records, reliable data and well-organised accounting processes. The role combines operational accounting with data control, reconciliations and coordination with external accounting partners.

We are looking for someone who understands accounting principles, pays close attention to detail and enjoys working with data. You will work with automated processes, monitoring records, identifying inconsistencies or errors and ensuring that issues are resolved promptly.

The role is a good fit for someone who is proactive, curious and eager to learn, and who enjoys having a broad view of how financial processes work within a growing business.

As the company grows, responsibilities will expand, offering opportunities to take on greater ownership and progress towards a team leadership role.

Key Responsibilities

• Posting incoming and outgoing invoices and bank statements;
• Monitoring petty cash and reconciling financial records;
• Monitoring and reconciling customer and supplier balances and account ledgers;
• Checking the accuracy and consistency of accounting data across different systems and records;
• Monitoring automated accounting processes and identifying discrepancies or errors in a timely manner;
• Collaborating with external accounting providers and preparing the required documentation;
• Monitoring receivables and managing the dunning process;
• Supporting the improvement and development of internal financial and accounting processes.

The Candidate

• 2–5 years of previous experience in posting invoices and working with financial documentation;
• Experience with account reconciliations and monitoring financial records;
• Good understanding of accounting processes and the ability to check and verify data across different systems and records;
• Experience with the Pantheon ERP system is an advantage, but not a requirement;
• Good knowledge of Excel and confidence in working with different computer systems;
• Fluent English and the ability to use it confidently in a business context;
• Strong organisational skills, accuracy, reliability and the ability to work independently;
• A proactive and hands-on approach, with the curiosity and motivation to learn and grow with the business.
