RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process incoming and outgoing invoices, bank statements and payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Perform regular reconciliations of accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Post and process manual journal entries to ensure all business transactions are accurately recorded
• Monitor accounting entries, identify discrepancies, and perform timely corrections
• Perform analysis and reconciliation of interim accounts
• Participate in monthly and year-end closing activities in line with defined timelines and procedures
• Communicate and coordinate with external consultants, tax authorities, and financial institutions when required
• Support year-end audit activities, including preparation and provision of documentation for auditors
• Participate in testing and implementation of ERP enhancements and process changes
• Collaborate with relevant departments to resolve operational issues and ensure smooth transaction processing
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and applicable financial, accounting, and tax regulations, while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legislative changes
• Contribute to ESG reporting within the scope of financial data and assigned responsibilities• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

REQUIREMENTS

• BSc/Ba or MA in accounting, finance, or related areas
• 2+ years of experience in accounting
• Accounting experience within a company focused on the production and product development would be a big plus
• Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g. Infor) and advanced MS Office skills
• Excellent analytical skills and high level of dedication and resilience
• Ambitious, dynamic, and self-driven person with excellent high school and academic qualifications
• Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English
