Keep the systems behind everything running smoothly

The Operational Control team is a tight-knit group that keeps the client’s financial systems stable and dependable. You’ll work hand in hand with teams across the business and with our external partners and clients to spot potential risks before they become problems and design smart, practical ways and rules to prevent them.

You’re often the first to touch a case and the last to sign it off which means if you’re the kind of person who notices when something’s off, enjoys getting to the bottom of it and likes turning messy situations into clean processes, you’ll feel right at home here.

What you’ll do:

• Build steady, trusted relationships with financial vendors and keep communication flowing
• Monitor systems to keep downtime to a minimum, making sound calls as you go
• Prepare data batch files, investigate data errors and assist with reconciliation
• Dig into data trends to pinpoint where operations could run more efficiently
• Keep thorough, well-documented reviews and audits of systems
• Act as the bridge between financial vendors and key internal and external teams, helping shape and maintain policies
• Bring process-improvement ideas and new initiatives to the leadership team
• Help train colleagues on financial procedures and standardize best practices across operations
• Protect account confidentiality and keep sensitive data private and secure
• Make sure everything you do lines up with our values and protocols

You might be a great fit if you…

If you bring:

• Experience in payment operations: familiarity with PSPs (Payment Service Providers), payment gateways, or similar payment infrastructure
• Bring around 2+ years in a progressive business environment
• Are a clear, confident communicator, in writing and out loud
• Are comfortable with computers: Word, Excel, Outlook, Jira, Tableau and similar tools
• Pick up new tasks, procedures and software quickly
• Have sharp analytical instincts and follow through on practical solutions
• Are detail-oriented and can prioritize and power through a high volume of tasks with minimal guidance
• Handle confidential data and procedures with care
• Bring initiative, commitment and a strong work ethic, and keep a sense of urgency when deadlines are close

Nice to have but absolutely not deal-breakers:
