We are currently looking for a Product Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Zagreb, Croatia!

As a Product Electrical Engineer, you will take ownership of the design and development of advanced electrical systems for mission-critical datacenter facilities, modular infrastructure projects and AI factories worldwide.

The role combines engineering collaboration with Pre-Sales, Product Management, Marketing, and cross-functional engineering teams to develop technical solutions, general design, and system integration. You will develop LV, MV and HV electrical system solutions and BIM-based designs, producing engineering deliverables such as single line diagrams, wiring diagrams power calculations, sequences of operation, equipment specifications, and material submittals. You will work across the entire project lifecycle, from concept development and engineering design to testing, commissioning support, and continuous product improvement.

We’re looking for engineers who enjoy solving complex, critical engineering challenges, continuously improving technology solutions, and working with modern automation platforms, virtualization technologies, industrial protocols, and AI-assisted engineering tools.

What kind of work will you be doing?

• Develop electrical system platforms, concepts, and detailed global engineering designs as required
• Support product development activities, including conceptual and detailed design phases
• Provide technical support to Pre-Sales, Offering, Marketing, and other engineering teams in the development of technical solutions
• Participate in prototype development and project execution activities
• Creating electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, block diagrams, layouts, sections, and technical calculations using engineering tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, EPLAN, ETAP, and Dialux
• Prepare equipment and material specifications, as well as technical, presentation, and marketing documentation
• Ensure compliance with applicable international, regional, and national standards (worldwide), company standards, and engineering best practices throughout the design process
• Participate in project kick-off meetings, regular project team meetings, and coordination meetings
• Report project status and progress to the Lead Engineer
• Collaborate proactively with multidisciplinary project teams throughout project execution.
• Coordinate and provide support to electrical system integrators under the guidance of the Lead Electrical Engineer
• Initiate Requests for Information (RFIs) when additional technical clarification is required
• Prepare project documentation in accordance with the approved Document List (DLIST)
• Define material and service requirements necessary for project execution
• Specify certification and compliance requirements for procured materials and equipment
• Provide technical support to suppliers during the tendering and procurement phases
• Review and provide technical approval of supplier quotations and proposals.
• Provide technical support to subcontractors and installers during manufacturing and installation activities
• Collaborate with Manufacturing and Site Deployment teams throughout project execution
• Support Site Managers during installation activities by providing technical solutions and engineering guidance
• Work closely with Quality teams during component, system, and site installation inspections
• Support Commissioning Engineers in the preparation of testing and commissioning documentation
• Prepare and maintain as-built documentation
• Provide support during Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)
• Support site commissioning and start-up activities
• Assist with internal testing and FAT activities at the Rugvica manufacturing facility
• Support site commissioning teams throughout the commissioning process
• Prepare installation, operation, and maintenance documentation

What will make you more successful?

• University degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology
• English Level B2
• Understanding of electrical power systems, distribution systems, and engineering design principles
• Knowledge of the following areas is preferred, but not mandatory:
• Revit
• AutoCAD and BIM tools
• EPLAN
• ETAP
• Dialux.
• Strong analytical skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to engineering excellence.
• Ability to work independently while effectively coordinating with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Curiosity, ownership, and a passion for solving challenging technical problems.
• A proactive mindset focused on delivering reliable solutions for complex, critical engineering applications

Travel Required:

• 20% travel requirement.
