dSPACE Croatia was founded in 2018 and is part of our global R&D department. Our engineers who are based in Zagreb, Osijek, and remote locations in Croatia work on innovative development projects and collaborate closely with teams in Germany. With over 220 employees and growing, our Croatian team plays a key role in shaping cutting-edge technologies. For our office in Zagreb, dSPACE is seeking for motivated professional for the role of Project Controller.

Project Controller (f/m)

Place of work: Zagreb office (possibility to work 2 days from home)

Responsibilities

• Introduce a centralized project controlling for all group companies
• Provide financial training for project managers
• Establish project-related data transparency and controlling processes
• Provide regular reports on project progress and actual vs. budget deviations for dedicated projects
• Act as a business partner and challenger for project managers
• Collaborate daily with the Headquarter Controlling/finance/project department

Requirements

• Degree in business administration with a focus on finance and controlling
• Background in R&D or project controlling
• Proven experience in developing and introducing processes
• Experience working in an international environment
• IT affinity, particularly with ERP and project management tools
• Experience in several controlling positions is desirable but not mandatory
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Fluent in English; German is desirable but not mandatory
