Job description

• Managing the project in close coordination with the Project teams of involved entities.
• Responsible for on time, in-budget and in-quality scope execution across the entire program.
• Coordination with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Responsible for project controlling and reporting tasks within company.
• Providing oversight in support of the execution of the project on site.
• Responsible for open communication within company but also with relevant subcontractors, owner representatives and other stakeholders;
• Support of the involved Lürssen entities regarding the implementation of project management related processes, reporting schemes, organizational development.
• Identifying opportunities to increase efficiencies and speed up processes across the project.
• Defining and implementing project-wide KPI’s to gauge project performance in all areas.
• Maintains close coordination with the Managing Director and other designated company representatives.

Skills and qualifications

• Master Degree in Engineering and/or Economy or similar education.
• PMP or IPMA certification is an advantage.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in leading project management positions, ideally as project manager in international projects.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in program management of complex multinational programs.
• Experience in shipbuilding industry is an advantage.
• Excellent knowledge in program management skills and techniques.
• Knowledge of EVMS (Earned Value Management System) methodology is considered an advantage.
• Structured, detail-oriented and accountable approach to work.
• Good knowledge of MS Office and common software applications (ERP systems).
• Good presentation skills.
• Able to work in a cooperative and participative leadership environment.
• Proactive mindset with a strong willingness to learn and take on increasing responsibility.
• High level of spoken and written English; German is an advantage.
