Your Work:

Are you interested in the intersection of Engineering and IT? Do you enjoy solving problems, learning new technologies, and working in international environment? Then this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

As a Junior PLM Application Officer, you will join Royal IHC’s IT Engineering Solutions team and help support and improve the digital engineering environment used by engineers across the organization. You will receive training and coaching to develop your knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Siemens Teamcenter, CAD integrations, and engineering business processes.

As a PLM Application Officer, you will support and further develop Royal IHC’s PLM landscape. Your primary focus will be Siemens Teamcenter and its integrations.

You will work closely with engineering and IT colleagues to understand business requirements and translate them into practical application solutions. Together with the team, you will help maintain a stable application environment, resolve incidents, support changes, and contribute to improvement initiatives.

Your responsibilities include:

• Learning how Teamcenter supports engineering and manufacturing processes.
• Supporting and maintaining the PLM application environment.
• Supporting application changes through Royal IHC’s change management process.
• Working with business stakeholders to understand requirements and identify improvements.
• Collaborating with solution partners and vendors.
• Participating in projects aimed at improving engineering efficiency and digitalization.
• Contributing to testing, documentation, and implementation activities.
• Working according to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Curious about new technologies and automation minded.

You will be part of an international team and will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects that directly support Royal IHC’s engineering processes.

For the position of Junior PLM Application Officer, we are looking for someone who has:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• An engineering background with an interest in IT, or an IT background with an interest in engineering processes.
• Strong willingness to learn and develop yourself within application management and PLM technologies.
• Basic knowledge of PLM and CAD is advantageous.*
• An analytical mindset and an interest in understanding business processes.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Good interpersonal skills and a valuable team player.
• Fluent English, both spoken and written.
• Willingness to travel in the EU occasionally when required.
• A proactive attitude, curiosity, and a drive to continuously improve.

Note* No extensive experience with PLM systems is required. Royal IHC will provide a structured learning path, training, and coaching to help you develop into an application management professional.
