Opis posla

We’re looking for a Senior .NET Software Engineer to join Aircash Development in Split. You’ll own complex backend problems from idea to production – designing and building the systems behind our products, writing clean, scalable code, and shipping features that reach millions of users across the EU.

Split is a new Aircash Development location, not a separate engineering organization. Your team will work with the same standards, culture and ways of working as the rest of Aircash Development – one engineering organization, multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own complex backend features end-to-end, from technical design and implementation to production monitoring and continuous improvement
• Drive technical discussions, challenge solutions constructively, and help the team make pragmatic engineering trade-offs
• Support and mentor other engineers, share knowledge and context, and help raise the engineering bar across the team
• Take ownership when things go wrong in production – lead the investigation, fix the root cause and share what we learn
• Work through ambiguity: turn unclear problems into clear technical solutions without waiting for a perfectly defined task
• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using modern .NET technologies, writing clean, scalable code
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
• Collaborate closely with QA engineers to ensure comprehensive testing coverage and smooth deployments
• Work alongside the product team to refine requirements and deliver features that exceed user expectations
• Contribute to system monitoring, logging, and performance tuning to ensure system reliability and observability
• Test, deploy, and monitor your work – your contributions will be immediately visible to users
• Stay up to date with new technologies, concepts, and best practices in software development, and bring them to the team
• Work with established development tools, guidelines, and conventions, including:
• Web development using .NET Core or .NET Framework
• Relational databases (MSSQL) and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) tools like Entity Framework (EF/EF Core)
• Build and maintain integrations with NoSQL systems like Elasticsearch and cloud-based components, such as Azure Service Bus
• Basic understanding of frontend frameworks, with AngularJS being a plus

Vrsta posla: Stalni radni odnos

Potrebno obrazovanje, znanja i vještine

• 5+ years of professional .NET development experience, with deep knowledge of .NET Core / .NET Framework
• A track record of taking complex problems from requirements to production and owning the outcome, not just the assigned task
• Experience making technical decisions, understanding trade-offs, and challenging solutions constructively
• Experience mentoring less experienced engineers and sharing context, not just code
• Comfort working through unclear requirements and taking initiative without waiting for tasks to be defined
• Strong understanding of backend architecture patterns, microservices, RESTful APIs, and asynchronous -processing
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tackling challenges
• Familiarity with distributed systems, messaging platforms (e.g. Azure Service Bus), and event-driven architectures
• Understanding of observability concepts (logging, tracing, metrics) and tools like New Relic, Seq, or similar
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to thrive in a team-oriented environment
• Commitment to delivering high-quality, scalable solutions focusing on user satisfaction
