Our Client is Rittmeyer AG, a Swiss technology company and part of the BRUGG GROUP, standing for state-of-the-art control and automation systems as well as measurement technology for the environmental and energy sectors. With their solutions, they make an important contribution to the secure supply of drinking water, electricity and gas, and to the environmentally responsible treatment of wastewater. The role is part of the HQ-based PRODUCTS organization of Rittmeyer AG, which develops and maintains the central software and system solutions used across the Rittmeyer Group.

For our Client, we are looking for a:

Software Quality Engineer (m/f)

Location: Zagreb (Sesvete)

About the Position:

Quality is more than testing – it starts with robust build and release processes, automated testing, and reliable CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities:

• Continuous improvement of our CI/CD, build and release processes
• Designing and implementing automated testing strategies, including unit, UI and regression tests
• Building and maintaining a reliable test and staging environment to support high-quality installer-based software delivery in a Windows environment
• Defining best practices, maintaining technical documentation and contributing to sustainable knowledge transfer within the development organization
• Supporting the development of Client’s SCADA product RITOP based on Siemens WinCC OA
• Identifying opportunities to optimize development, testing and release workflows
• Evaluating and implementing Docker-based solutions for development and staging environments

Requirements:

• Completed studies in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a comparable technical qualification
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Software Development, CI/CD, Build Engineering or Test Automation (Unit/Regression/UI)
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD, automated testing, build & release management and modern version control systems (Git/Bitbucket)
• Experience with Docker; knowledge of Linux-based test and staging environments is an advantage
• Experience with object-oriented software development (e.g. C++, C#, JavaScript or TypeScript) is an advantage
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Good written and spoken German (minimum B2)
